Once Shrimati Chhotubai visited Shirdi. She put her baby in the cradle after preparing plate for Pooja. When the baby slept, she took the plate of Pooja and proceeded towards Dwarkamai. In the mean while the baby woke up, cried much, so the women nearby tried many ways to make him quiet, but all in vain.
As soon as Chhotubai entered Dwarkamai, Sai Baba said, Keep your plate of Pooja here, first go to your lodging, your Pooja is necessary there. Chhotubai could not get the meaning of Sai Baba’s words, but keeping Shraddha on His words left the plate of Pooja there and went to her lodging. On reaching there she saw her baby crying. Somehow she made him quiet. After some time the baby went to sleep and Chhotubai now proceeded to Dwarkamai to complete her worship to Sai Baba. Sai Baba said, Now you can perform your worship when she stepped in Dwarkamai. Hearing to the significant words of Sai Baba, Chhotubai and her sister were satisfied and started worshiping Sai Baba whole heartedly.
In another occasion, Moreshwar Pradhan and Chhotubai had to leave Shirdi after receiving permission of the King of Shirdi Sai Baba and reach Bombay in time. At that time, it was monsoon season. Just then, thick black clouds gathered in the sky above the land of Shirdi and it started raining heavily. How will we be able to reach Bombay, such thoughts started roaming in their minds.
Pradhan family had immense faith of Sai Baba and they knew that Sai Baba is the Saviour. Their faith for Sai Baba will never go useless this was their firm conviction. To depart from Shirdi they packed their luggage and started for Dwarkamai to take the permission of Sai Baba in the heavy rain. Sai Baba then said, why did you come in such heavy rain? Moreshwar replied, Baba we have to reach Bombay in time.
Immediately sai Baba had a glance on the sky while sitting on Gadi of Dwarkamai and said, Allah Miya Abhi Ruk Jao, Barsaat Pura Kar De, Mere Bal Bachho Ko Sukh Chain Se Bumbai Pahuchh Jane De (meaning Allah Miya please stop, finish off the rain, let My children reach Bombay happily and safely). The rain at once stopped as if the words of Sai Baba reached to the ears of Varun Dev (Lord of Rain).
